To say diaspora is to say dispersion, distancing, exile. For us, it is thinking about a group of Boricuas that one day had to board “an air bus” and grow roots in unknown countries, of different shadings, of another way of talking, of smells and flavors maybe sparse, tasteless, without our substances.

With the signing of the Foundation Charter of UNASUR (the Union of South American Nations), the twelve countries that make it up took a step of historic dimensions. This is a question, no less and no more, of enforcing the decision to reunite the parts, now separate, of a great nation.
